<p data-start="1784" data-end="1871"><strong data-start="1784" data-end="1803">Heavier weights</strong> usually lower RPM / can increase top speed <em data-start="1847" data-end="1870">if you have the power</em>.</p>

<p data-start="1874" data-end="1956"><strong data-start="1874" data-end="1893">Lighter weights</strong> usually raise RPM / can improve acceleration but can over-rev.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1957" data-end="2054">
<p data-start="1959" data-end="2054"><strong data-start="1959" data-end="1984">Stiffer contra spring</strong> helps belt grip and backshift, but can reduce top speed if too stiff.</p>
</li>

<p data-start="2057" data-end="2165"><strong data-start="2057" data-end="2083">Stiffer clutch springs</strong> raise engagement RPM (launch harder), but too stiff can feel “slippy” in traffic.</p>
