Welcome to 2-Stroke Tech 🛠️🔥
This section is for all things 2T performance and reliability — from mild daily setups to full race builds.

Post here for:

  • Carb tuning / jetting / needle tuning (pilot, main, clip position)

  • Air leaks, crank seals, reeds, intake boots

  • Pipes (expansion chamber choices, fitment, powerband tuning)

  • Cylinders & porting (sport vs midrace vs high-end)

  • Ignition timing, CDI, stator issues

  • Oil injection vs premix, ratios, and safe practices

  • Cooling, plug chops, EGT/CHT discussions

  • Compression, squish, head work

To get good answers fast, include:

Scooter: year/make/model
Engine: 2T type + displacement (ex: Minarelli, PGO, etc.)
Carb: size + jets + needle clip (if known)
Intake/filter: stock box / pod / snorkel changes
Pipe: name/model
Cylinder: stock / kit (which one)
Fuel/oil: premix ratio or injection
Symptoms/goals: (top speed, acceleration, midrange, reliability)

Helpful “baseline” threads we’ll build over time

  • Plug reading basics (and what NOT to rely on)
